  • How leaders or expert can increase their capacity to embrace people who act and think differently

  • How to become more authentic and increase your level of trustworthiness

  • Tools for communicating effectively with yourself and others, especially during high stakes conversations

  • Understand the basics of neuroscience and make your nervous system work for you in every interaction

#1 Understand What Makes You Tick

In order to be known as someone who has above average relating skills, it is important to start by examining your inner life (values, beliefs, behaviours) and focus on interrupting the patterns of relating that don’t serve you.

As we familiarise ourselves how our nervous system works, delve deeper into our character structures, understand our gifts and the gifts of others, we bring more of our authentic selves to every interaction.

The ability to accept our gifts/ talents and notice the same in others, shifting our belief system, and becoming more skilful at how we communicate with ourselves and others allows new possibilities to emerge in our inter-personal relationships.

#2 Become Relational Fluent

The program faculty have studied with the world’s pioneering experts and researchers on relational intelligence. They will orient you to polyvagal theory and neuroscience.

The goal of this part of the training is to help you, as leader that aspires to be a leader of influence, is to understand the symptoms of a problematic interaction, either between you and a colleague or between others in your work environment, and to learn the appropriate ways to respond.

Please note that advanced training, not offered in this program, will be required to reach a level of mastery.

#3 Elevate your relationships through Relational Intelligence

At work, we see sub-optimal ways of relating. These less optimal habits are often caused because we haven’t been taught them or have someone role-model them to us; or perhaps, we haven’t made time to practice these skills.

Throughout the program, we will look for areas where relational intelligence is woven through or work and personal lives. All our professional and personal interaction relies on relational intelligence.

Many negotiations, high stake conversations, relationships fail because we do not yet understood how to apply the relevant aspects of relational intelligence to our interactions.
