Leadership team facilitation day | Vertical Development Consulting

Leading under pressure, a facilitated day for your leadership team

This is a one-day session for a leadership team of six to fourteen people. It's usually bought by someone in HR or L&D, or by the team's own leader, and it suits a team that has been under sustained load for a while. Meetings have got sharper, or they've gone quiet.

In Victoria, employers also have obligations around psychosocial hazards at work, and organisations often bring this day in alongside that work.

What the team leaves with

Your team gets a shared language for what happens to a group under pressure, and a few practices it will actually use afterwards. A single day won't transform a culture.

A day works best alongside changes to workload and role design. If the scoping call suggests either is the real problem, I'll say so in the outline.

How it runs

The day is in person with the whole team. Six weeks later there's a ninety-minute follow-up online.

Price and the first step

A day starts from $5,000 + GST, with the final price set in the outline. Book a scoping call with the button below. You can also email rudi@vertdev.co or call +61 410 740 648 with a few lines on the team and what's going on. The call is forty-five minutes and free, and I'll send you a one-page outline with a price within 24 hours.

Questions from HR and L&D

We already have an EAP. Why would we need this?

An EAP helps an individual once something has gone wrong. This day is for the team as a whole, earlier on, so it sits alongside your EAP and doesn't replace it.

Is this training or therapy?

It's professional development, built around what the team does when the pressure is on. It isn't therapy, and it doesn't replace an employee assistance program.

How many people can take part?

Six to fourteen. If your team is outside that range, get in touch and I'll tell you whether the day still works.
